Job Summary

The EDM group have an exciting opportunity for a a reliable, hardworking labourer in the centre of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.

* Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties to ensure a safe working environment.

* Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed.

* Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain workplace safety standards.

* Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Skills

* Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.

* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.

* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential.

* Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.

* Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
