Spring Mews, our vibrant 378-bed student property, is on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join the team part-time. You'll work 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 10am–6:30pm—a great opportunity for those seeking a stable role with excellent work-life balance in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Are you a natural problem solver who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in? Do you take pride in keeping things running smoothly and creating safe, welcoming spaces? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fresh. In this role, you’ll take ownership of both planned and reactive maintenance tasks—handling everything from quick fixes to more complex issues. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the building remains compliant with statutory health and safety requirements, and for managing the large commercial waste bins located outside the property.

Whether it’s routine upkeep or an unexpected challenge, you’ll be our go-to expert for all things maintenance—playing a key role in making sure our residents feel safe, comfortable, and at home.

About You

You’re practical, reliable, and take pride in your work. You bring a solid background in maintenance, with a good mix of technical skills and a can-do attitude. Whether it’s fixing, maintaining, or improving building systems, you're confident working independently and always thinking one step ahead to prevent issues before they arise.

You’ll also need to be approachable and calm under pressure—someone who can juggle priorities and still bring a positive, solution-focused mindset to the table.
