About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or candidates with experience working with young people in sport, youth work, or other education settings.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to secondary classes

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Support students with their learning and ensure a positive environment

Maintain accurate records of lesson progress and behaviour

Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures

Requirements

Experience working with young people (formal or informal)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Ability to engage and motivate learners

A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude

*

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
