     An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a production manager.
Duties:
  * Planning the production schedule using factory management software.
  * Implement, communicate, control and monitor the schedule, and adjust where needed.
  * Continuously review requirements of the order book to ensure sufficient capacity in the factory to meet customer needs.
  * Analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
  * Continually review staff performance identifying any training required. Conduct return to work meetings, and handle any disciplinary issues.
  * Responsible for the correct use and maintenance of all factory equipment, organising any necessary repairs.
  * Accountable for Health and Safety within the production area, both for your own team and anyone who accesses that area.
Requirements:
  * Minimum 3 years experience in a production / manufacturing manager role or equivalent.
  * Experience of working within agreed targets, KPI’s, and deadlines.
  * Good Microsoft Office skills and experience working with in-house systems.
Hours:
  * 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
