Role Summary:
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes within the engineering vertical. You will take ownership of client accounts, grow your desk, and lead by example—delivering high-quality candidates while developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a 360-degree recruitment process from client acquisition to placement and post-placement follow-up.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients in the engineering sector.
*
Source, screen, and interview engineering professionals for roles ranging from junior to senior/executive level.
*
Use a variety of sourcing tools and techniques including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
*
Create job adverts, conduct candidate marketing, and proactively identify recruitment opportunities.
*
Negotiate terms of business and manage the full sales cycle with clients.
*
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market changes within the engineering field.
*
Mentor junior consultants (if applicable) and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Meet and exceed personal and team KPIs, billing targets, and activity goals.
Requirements:
Essential:
*
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the engineering sector.
*
Strong business development skills and a successful track record of building a client base.
*
In-depth understanding of the engineering market and relevant job roles (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
*
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
*
Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
*
Familiarity with recruitment tools (ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
Desirable:
*
Experience in managing or mentoring junior recruiters.
*
Existing client portfolio within engineering.
*
Background or qualification in engineering or technical disciplines.
