We are assisting our client – a family owned commercial vehicle company – in recruiting a Parts Advisor/Driver to join their friendly team in Totton. The client, who have just celebrated their 32nd year of trading, are highly invested in their candidates and offer fantastic job security. Responsibilities:

* Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers.

* Establishing customer’s needs for required parts through conversations, diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate.

* Locating and ordering parts for our very busy sales and service departments.

* Being fully conversant with procedures within the parts department.

* Delivering and collection of parts as required.

* Liaising and maintaining a working relationship with the supplier’s.

* Receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from supplier’s.

* Communicating relevant promotions and offers to the Workshop Controller and our customer’s.

* Assisting with parts stock checks.

* Reporting any stock damages or losses.

* Follow current procedures for returning parts to all supplier’s.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a similar role.

Minimum 2 year’s current, clean Driving Licence.

Knowledge of geographical area.

Professional presentation.

Customer Service Skills.

Verbal and written skills.

Physically able to lift appropriate items in and out of vehicle (subject to legal limitation).

Knowledge of Health & Safety in the Workplace.

Other Information:

20 days annual leave plus 8 days Bank Holiday

Holidays increase with time served.
