Are you a passionate Primary Specialist looking for a opportunity to work within SEMH ? We are seeking a full-time teacher to teach either in KS1 or KS2 - in a high performing SEMH primary setting. This is a genuine Long-term role , expected to run for the entire academic year- commencing in September 2025.
We are interested in hearing from ECT'S and also those teachers with a broader range of experience.
Please be aware the interview process will involve a days trial at the school.
The role will involve you -
Delivering engaging and effective lessons to your designated class
Using a balanced firm and inclusive style to ensure pupils are engaged
Managing an experienced Team of Classroom assistants.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and creativity.
Using different teaching styles to increase the outcomes in each lesson.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
Collaborate with school staff and administrators to meet the educational needs of students.
Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines as provided.
Provide constructive feedback and assessment to support students' progress.
The ideal candidate will :
Have UK based teaching experience- either in school or on placement
Have a genuine interest in SEMH pupils
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to complete an immediate application
Have strong communication and proactive classroom management skills.
Be resilient and able to respond well to feedback.
Have a dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Be reliable, hardworking and a strong rapport builder
Be available academic year 2025/26
