Pay & Shifts:
* Monday to Friday
* £13.07 per hour (£27,200 per annum on a 40 hour week)

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate various saws to cut stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials to precise lengths according to job specifications.
* Set up and calibrate equipment, including adjusting backstops and securing saw blades for optimal performance.
* Monitor sawing operations closely to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly.
* Perform quality control by measuring finished components using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy.
* Carry out routine maintenance such as blade changes and cleaning to keep equipment in excellent condition.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
* Support and supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance and ensuring workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
* Competence in using precision measuring instruments.
* GCSE or NVQ (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good physical stamina for standing and handling materials.
* Awareness of health and safety standards within a workshop environment.
