Class 2 Delivery Driver (135jc) – Barnstaple - £33k + benefits

Are you mission-ready, adaptable, and take pride in a job well done? My client is looking for a professional and dependable Class C Delivery Driver to join their established team – someone who’s confident handling logistics, managing time under pressure, and representing a brand with integrity.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

Whether you’ve left the Armed Forces recently or are looking to transition your skills to civilian logistics, this role offers routine, structure, and the autonomy you’re used to – with nights away mainly at the start of the week and local deliveries to finish.

The Role

* Drive and deliver goods safely across the UK, ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met.

* Support customer delivery with professional offloading at client premises.

* Build strong working relationships with regular customers – you’ll be the face of our business.

* Tackle problems calmly and communicate ETAs or issues proactively.

* Week structured for rhythm and work-life balance, Mon–Wed: Long-distance/nationwide, Thurs: Local delivery and Fri: Housekeeping, route reviews, and load-up for next week

* Presentable, punctual, and takes pride in your work

* Clear communicator with a calm, solution-focused mindset

* Can de-escalate issues and build rapport with customers

* Reliable and happy to take initiative on the road and in the yard

Mandatory Requirements

* Clean C Licence

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* In-date CPC (DQC)

* Clean driving licence

Desirable

* ADR licence

* Forklift licence

In return they are offering a good starting salary of £33kk with 23 days annual leave increasing to 28 days after a few years, + Bank holidays, employer pension contribution of 3.35%, life insurance, Paid sick leave, staff discounts, + many others.
