THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly capable Technical Operations Manager to oversee the coordination between engineering, fabrication, and on-site execution. This senior-level role bridges the technical and operational sides of our business—ensuring that detailed design, workshop preparation, and site delivery align seamlessly to meet programme deadlines and quality expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and coordinate technical delivery from drawing approval through to final installation

* Work closely with design, contracts, and production teams to ensure constructability and accuracy

* Oversee project planning, steel detailing checks, and fabrication sequencing

* Provide technical input during pre-construction and live projects

* Resolve technical queries from site and coordinate engineering responses

* Ensure all works meet relevant codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

* Drive efficiency across fabrication, logistics, and erection phases

REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience in technical/operations roles within structural or architectural steelwork

* Strong knowledge of steel detailing, fabrication processes, and site installation

* Ability to read and interpret GA and fabrication drawings (Tekla or similar)

* Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills

* Knowledge of London construction industry standards and expectations

* Engineering or construction management background preferred
