Production Supervisor – Grassington
Salary: £41,333 per annum DOE
Hours: 48 hours per week | 4 x 12-hour shifts
Shift Pattern: 4 weeks Monday–Thursday / 4 weeks Wednesday–Saturday
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Swift Placements have collaborated with a leading manufacturing business based in Grassington, near Keighley. Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated and motivated Production Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Production Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will also manage a team of production workers, coordinate schedules, and work cross-functionally to optimise operations.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and lead a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

* Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues affecting efficiency, quality, or safety.

* Collaborate with the planning department to develop schedules and allocate resources effectively.

* Train and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and skill development.

* Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

* Maintain accurate production records, including inventory and maintenance logs.

* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity and cost-effectiveness.

* Provide regular updates to management on production performance and operational challenges.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

* Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

* Proficiency in production management software/tools.

* Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern as outlined.

The Package:

* Full-time, permanent role

* 48 hours per week – 4 x 12-hour shifts

* Rotating 8-week shift pattern:

* 4 weeks: Monday to Thursday

* 4 weeks: Wednesday to Saturday

* Salary: £41,333 per Annum
