Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with BOC based in Stallingborough, recruiting for a Cylinder Operative to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be required to provide prepared cylinders and drums in accordance with production schedules and production orders.
 
What will I be doing as a Cylinder Operative?

Processing full and empty cylinders in the yard, including sorting and blowing down
Testing cylinders in line with legal and safety requirements
Ensuring only clean, safe, refurbished cylinders remain in circulation
Isolating damaged cylinders for repair or removal
Refurbishing cylinders to programme requirements outside routine testing
Working safely and maintaining a clean working environment 
What skills and experience do I need?

Strong safety awareness
High level of personal integrity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement
Comfortable interacting with internal colleagues
Experience in manufacturing, technical, mechanical or machine-operating roles is beneficial but not essential
Counterbalance FLT Licence (Preferred) 
What hours will I be working?

Monday to Friday
Rotating shift pattern:
   – 06:00 to 13:30
   – 13:00 to 20:30 
What will I be paid?

£17.89 per hour
