An innovative and well-established global manufacturer of premium equipment is seeking a motivated and experienced Planning Coordinator to join its European operations team.
Position Summary
This role is based in Northamptonshire and plays a key part in managing production planning and scheduling across two sites and four operational teams. The Planning Coordinator will ensure efficient workflows, maintain stock levels, and support cross-functional collaboration to meet customer and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan and coordinate production activities in alignment with forecasts and customer demand across European operations
•Collaborate with engineering to ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routing
•Foster effective communication and alignment with team leaders across departments
•Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure targets are met without overstocking
•Apply LEAN manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
•Support global teams by aligning production planning with international requirements
•Partner with the sales team to provide visibility on product availability and lead times
•Track and monitor the movement of components throughout the production cycle
Skills and Experience Required
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
•Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent ERP systems
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
