Site Engineer

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing business based near Needham Market. We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team.

Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 DOE 

Site Engineer Package:

Competitive Salary £42,000 - £48,000
On call system (£165 to hold the phone for a week, normal hourly rate for week days, time and a half for Saturdays and double time for Sundays)
Varied site-based work
Progression opportunities 

Site Engineer Shifts:

3 tier shift rotation DAYS ONLY: 8am – 5pm:

Week 1: 7x days on 2x days off

Week 2: 3x days on 2x days off

Week 3: 5x days on 2x days off

Site Engineer responsibilities:

Servicing biomass boilers
Maintaining industrial boiler systems
Maintenance of hydraulics, valves, steam lines, pumps etc..
General routine PPMs site wide 

Site Engineer required Experience:

Mechanical Qualification
BOAS – would be advantageous
5 years in manufacturing/Industrial setting
Basic welding experience would be beneficial
All applicants should have experinece with boiler maintenanc
Must have experience with compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling, refrigeration plants, pumps motors etc..
