The Role
As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work directly with a pupil who has additional learning needs. Your role will include adapting classroom materials, promoting engagement, and supporting emotional regulation. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver consistent, tailored support that helps the pupil thrive both academically and socially.
 
The Candidate
You’re a graduate with a calm, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in special educational needs. You’ll need strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children. Any experience supporting young people in education, care, or community settings is a real advantage.
