Warehouse Parcel Sorter / Courier Driver
Location: SE1, London
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40–48 hours per week, depending on delivery volume
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 per annum
DBS Check: Required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Parcel Sorter / Courier Driver to join our logistics team based in SE1. This hybrid role involves both parcel sorting and making deliveries. It’s ideal for individuals who are physically fit, have strong attention to detail, and are confident drivers. Early starts, tight deadlines, and active work define this role.

Working hours may vary between 40 to 48 hours per week, depending on the volume of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:

* Sort and scan parcels accurately based on delivery routes

* Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

* Maintain a clean and organised warehouse workspace

* Report damaged or misrouted parcels to a supervisor promptly

* Comply with all warehouse health and safety protocols

Courier Driver Duties:

* Deliver parcels to residential and business addresses within designated routes

* Ensure timely, secure, and accurate delivery of items

* Follow GPS or route plans and adapt to traffic or road conditions

* Obtain delivery signatures or scan confirmations as required

* Maintain accurate delivery records and complete daily logs

* Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and roadworthy

* Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers

Requirements:

* Must pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* Confident driving experience, preferably in a courier/delivery role

* Excellent time management and organisational skills

* Comfortable using handheld scanners or delivery apps

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

* Previous warehouse or courier experience is desirable
