My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Procurement Officer on a Contract basis.

The successful candidate will undertake tasks through the procurement process for the organisations new ERP system: support Procurement Workstream Lead in drafting and documentation of a contract management approach, decommissioning strategy, requirement gathering and documentation for Archiving & Support Lots and contribute to development of programme board and Gateway reports.

Salary: £475 per day, inside IR35*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

Ability to develop and document a Contract Management approach for an ERP implementation
Review of contract register and liaising with contract owners to obtain contracts and gateway reports to confirm compliance
Work alongside Procurement Lead to produce presentational content for procurement updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, align on priorities, and communicate project updates

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

Extensive experience in a similar role.
Qualification in procurement or working towards a qualification in procurement, or related field, e.g. CIPS.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Local Authority experience is essential
