Quality Assurance / QA Technician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician to join a leading manufacturer based in Norwich.

This Quality Engineer will be responsible for the inspection of machined components, compiling FAIR reports and ensuring a good standard of work is being carried out on the floor. You’ll play a key part in ensuring components meet specification through inspection and reporting, contributing directly to product excellence and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a similar Quality Assurance role, demonstrable tenure and live within a commutable distance to Norwich.

Salary up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
39 hours per week: Monday–Thursday 7:30–16:00, Friday 7:30–15:00
25 days holiday + bank holidays

Perform 1st-off and last-off inspections on machined components
Conduct roving inspections on in-process parts to maintain consistent quality levels
Ensuring ISO 9001 standards are met
Produce and maintain FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) and related documentation
Work closely under the QA Manager, supporting day-to-day quality activities and improvements
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirementsQuality Assurance / QA Technician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician Requirements

Previous experience in quality inspection or assurance within a manufacturing environment
Experience with ISO 9001 standards 
Relevant qualiy qualification would  be beneficial 
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and reporting
Commutable distance to Norwich
