Education Personnel, one of the leading education recruitment agencies in the East Midlands, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Burton area. This is a part-time role, working three days per week towards the end of the week on alternating weeks, running from January to July.

Teach Humanities to GCSE level across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons as a Humanities Teacher that inspire and challenge students

Support students’ progress and development through structured, high-quality teaching as a Humanities Teacher

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and well-managed department of Humanities Teachers
*
Contribute to a positive learning environment where students thrive under the guidance of a skilled Humanities Teacher

The successful candidate will

Be confident teaching Humanities to GCSE level
*
Demonstrate strong classroom management and subject knowledge as a Humanities Teacher

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed for the full duration of the role

Be able to work three days per week, towards the end of the week, on alternating weeks
