A real success story in the region and number one in their sector, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Production Shift Manager.

This is a management position that will see you taking full responsibility for the Factory and a team of circa 30 during your shift.

The business operates 3 shifts over 5 days as a rule but, when necessary, the factory will operate over 7 days. Responsibilities will include:
Accountable for all employees’ health and safety performance, fostering a compliant and safe working environment
Ensure all departments are working to production plans and targets, monitoring this on a daily basis
Supervising all activities and planning and delegating to the workforce
Management of shift cover and temporary labour, conduct regular appraisals and buzz meetings
Drive shift performance and team engagement to improve and maximise production standardsThis is a role that will suit someone with a can-do attitude and with strong people management skills. You need to have experience of working in a fast-paced production environment with good problem-solving skills.

In return our client is offering a salary of up to £50,000 and a chance to really be part of an amazing team.
