Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Do you have a genuine enthusiasm for helping young children thrive in their learning? Swale Academies Trust is seeking motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work across our primary schools.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers and work directly with pupils to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. This role is ideal for those with experience in education who want to make a positive and lasting contribution to primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom preparation and resources
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment
Provide additional support to pupils with SEND where required
What We’re Looking For:
A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage but not essential
Flexible, proactive, and reliable
