Location: Laindon (Office-Based) – Must Drive Due to Location

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 (Entry-Level Considered)

Our client is looking for a motivated and friendly Purchase Ledger & Accounts Clerk to help keep their finance function running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in a thriving business.

? What You'll Be Doing:

* Processing and checking supplier invoices

* Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes

* Resolving invoice queries with suppliers

* Preparing payment runs

* Assisting with reconciliations and month-end tasks

* Supporting the wider finance team as needed

✅ What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in a similar purchase ledger/accounts payable role

* A good grasp of numbers and strong attention to detail

* Confident using Excel; knowledge of Sage, Xero or similar is a bonus

* A positive, can-do team player
