Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with primary and secondary schools across Corby, and we are looking for compassionate, adaptable and resilient individuals to join our team as classroom-based support staff.

This role is perfectly suited to those with experience in care, residential support, SEN services, youth work, or community roles who now want to make a difference within an education setting. Your existing skillset-such as empathy, de-escalation, safeguarding awareness, calm communication and a supportive approach-translates exceptionally well to the classroom.

What the role involves:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups

Helping students regulate behaviour, manage emotions and stay engaged

Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment

Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development

Contributing to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
