Factory Operative / FLT Driver - Recycling Department

Location: Stalybridge, SK15 
Pay Rate: £13.22 per hour
Hours: Rotating shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hard-working Factory Operative / FLT Driver to join our Recycling Department. This is a hands-on role, working as part of a small team to support recycling operations, shredding materials, collecting bins, and handling waste safely and efficiently.
The position is split 50/50 between factory duties and forklift operation, so teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Operate shredding and recycling equipment safely.
Collect, empty, and replace factory bins and recycling containers.
Mix and batch liquid materials following instructions.
Operate a forklift (counterbalance/reach) to move and load materials.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow all H&S procedures.
Work effectively as part of a two-person team. About You

Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance).
Experience in a factory, recycling, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Physically fit with good manual handling awareness.
Team player with a positive, safety-first attitude. What's on Offer
