EH20 are proud to announce that we are working closely with a well-known surveying company in the Glasgow City Region. They are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor. This role will see you actively involved surveying and inspection works of commercial buildings, and you will work closely with clients to make recommendations for improvement works and repair works. This role is ideal for an experienced buildings surveyor who is looking for their next challenge.

* £46,000 to £55,000 Depending on if chartered and experience

Responsibilities:

* Undertaking property inspections on behalf of clients

* Carrying out EPC checks and offering advice to clients

* Supporting technical services clients carrying out inspections and surveys for them

* Look for ways to which improvements repair or restoration works can be carried out on buildings

* Carry out property surveys, evaluations and make recommendations on preventative and corrective measures

* Support with planning applications works on behalf of the client

What you will need

* Bachelor’s degree in building surveying or related built environment discipline

* Demonstrated experience conducting property assessments, technical surveys, Energy Performance Certificates, dilapidation reports, project management, and contract administration is highly valued

* Previous professional experience within a Surveying consultancy or practice

* Capability to stay informed about current property market trends and economic developments
