Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant
Post Go-Live Optimisation & Enhancements
Remote | 6 month contract | Outside IR35
We’re supporting a client that has recently gone live with Dynamics 365 F&O and is now focused on maximising value from the platform. They’re looking for an experienced D365 Finance Consultant to drive post go-live enhancements, improve user adoption, and deliver tangible return on investment from the system.
This is not an implementation delivery role, but rather a hands-on engagement focused on optimisation, stabilisation, and continuous improvement following go-live.
The Role
Lead and deliver post go-live enhancements across Dynamics 365 Finance
Work closely with finance stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and prioritise change
Translate business requirements into functional design and system configuration
Optimise finance processes across areas such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, budgeting, and reporting
Improve system usage, data quality, controls, and reporting to drive measurable business benefits
Support testing, release management, and documentation for ongoing changes
Act as a trusted functional advisor to finance and programme stakeholdersExperience Required
Strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance
Proven experience working in post go-live or early-life support environments
Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes
Comfortable engaging with senior finance and business stakeholders
Experience delivering enhancements, change requests, and optimisation initiativesDesirable:
Prior involvement in D365 implementations
Exposure to integrations, reporting, or ISV solutions
Experience helping organisations realise ROI following ERP go-live
