Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Administrator Assistant to manage the company’s financial operations, including overseeing payroll, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This role reports directly to the Director. This is a remote position.
Accounts and Administrator Assistant Responsibilities:
Process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all payments are tracked and resolved.
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations.
Financial Reporting: Monitor financial systems, prepare financial reports and statements, and ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Regularly update the company’s computerised accounting systems to reflect all transactions.
Assist with the development and management of budgets and monitor cash flow to ensure the company operates within its financial means.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and support in developing strategies to improve financial efficiency.
Ensure all financial records, including invoices, payroll, and tax documents, are properly filed and compliant with company policies.

Skills and Qualifications required of an Accounts and Administrator Assistant:
Experience working in accounts administration, is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with others and take initiative where needed.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a growing company.
Experience of using Clear-Kare system would be an advantage.
