Architectural Technologist Job in Lichfield, Midlands

A new Architectural Technologist Job has now opened up at my client's Lichfield office. This role offers a unique chance to join a multidisciplinary team, working on a variety of projects spanning residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and leisure

Based across two offices with over twenty members of staff this employee-owned multidisciplinary practice offers a range of services including Architectural, building surveying, and project management. Due to continued success, they are now seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their residential and healthcare team.

Role & Responsibilities

Work on the production of technical drawing packages
Design presentation materials like boards and layouts
Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant laws
Assess risks and create health and safety plans according to regulations
Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and issue instructions as needed
Organise drawings properly and back up computer files monthly
Measure existing buildings on-site as required for projects.

Required Skills & Experience

AutoCAD and Revit proficiency is required

Experience working on healthcare and social housing projects is desirable
Ideally this candidate will have around 5 years of in practice experience
Good knowledge of UK building regulations, general planning legislation, and CDM 2015 regulations.
