Conveyancing Paralegal / Conveyancing Support – East Kilbride – Salary up to £42,000 p/a

We are eager to speak to experienced conveyancing paralegals who are looking for a new, challenging role in Lanarkshire. Ideally, you will have strong conveyancing experience, be able to manage a high-volume workload and provide support to a team of solicitors daily. You will be joining a small, established firm and team, who are highly recognised and regarded in their field.
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Ideally, this role will be office based, buy hybrid working may be considered. The salary for the role is dependent on experience.
Are you who we are looking for?
You are an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal, or have Conveyancing Support experience
You have strong understanding of property law, land registration and conveyancing processes
You are a confident communicator both written and orally
You have a strong attention to detail and can ensure that all documents are accurate and compliant
You are a strong problem solver and are able to work proactively
You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and Denovo
You can manage you time and diary effectively to complete all tasks
You enjoy working individually within a wider team environment
What is the day to day like?
Supporting a team of 4 solicitors daily with all conveyancing administrative duties
Preparing and managing property searches
Ensuring all documents are signed, witnessed and submitted to relevant authorities in a timely manner
Liaising with clients, gathering all information and keeping all parties informed of progress and basic queries
Communicating with estate agents, mortgage brokers, surveyors and local authorities daily
Maintaining up to date and accurate files, ensuring all is compliant
Keeping track of deadlines and ensuring all are met
Drafting letters and correspondence to clients on behalf of solicitors
Conducting legal research relating to property law, conveyancing, and keeping up changes with regulations and processes
Reviewing contracts and leases for accuracy and completeness, highlighting any issues
Assisting with the management of the post completion process, registering property transfers, and checking stamp duty, organising the release of funds and the exchange of keys between parties
