Wirer Fitter – £35,000
Rugeley, Staffordshire | On-site | Full-time

Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to undertake a UK SC Level security clearance. We can only consider UK citizens or Dual UK citizens.

We’re looking for an experienced Wirer Fitter to join the assembly team. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and technical accuracy are key.

What you’ll be doing:

Reviewing job packages and prioritising build sequences

*

Reading and interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and wiring schedules

*

Building and assembling equipment to company and industry standards (IPC610/IPC620)

*

Identifying and resolving material shortages or build issues

*

Working closely with Engineering, Test, QHSE, and Supply Chain teams

*

Supporting prototype builds and implementing design changes where needed

*

Instructing and guiding apprentices, trainees, and new employees

*

Creating live DRS sheets for Manufacturing Engineers and Team Leaders

*

Travelling occasionally within the UK and abroad for off-site activities

What we’re looking for:

*

Experience in a similar electrical assembly or wirer fitting role

*

Ability to interpret manufacturing information and carry out self-inspection

*

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

*

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

*

Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, ISO9001/14001, and modern manufacturing techniques

*

Apprentice trained, with GCSEs (Maths & English) or equivalent

*

Ideally IPC 610 & 620 qualified, with soldering experience to J-STD-001

*

PC literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
