We're representing a manufacturing client in the East Yorkshire region. This business has a full order book and is experiencing a period of organic growth. We are looking to recruit a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team of expert engineers. This is a critical role to keep the engineering function ticking over and ensuring machine reliability is at it's optimum. The Person:

* Apprentice Trained (NVQ).

* Experienced as a Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Engineering Technician or Mechanical Fitter.

The Role:

* Mechanical maintenance of full plant machinery and building services.

* Complete work permits to ensure that work is conducted in a safe manner.

* To carry out daily maintenance, calibration and repairs of the Treatment Plant (training will be given), as scheduled and directed by the Engineering Manager/Technical Engineering Director

* Planned Maintenance.

* Adhere to site H&S and Hygiene procedure.

* Installation of new equipment and upgrade of existing equipment.

* Set up machines for production shifts.

The working hours are 6am until 2:30pm, 2pm until 10pm and 8am until 4:30pm. There is an on call rota every 1 in 3 and Saturday working. Salary on offer is £45,500. Contact Shaun Treacy at Questech for more information
