Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Contract: Permanent
Rate: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum

Our Client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across the business and supply chain. This is a key role ensuring high standards in products and services, driving continuous improvement, and reducing warranty claims and rework.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define and implement quality controls and policies.

* Monitor performance and outputs of quality processes.

* Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards.

* Research customer feedback and industry developments to inform decisions.

* Direct teams to implement quality frameworks and liaise with suppliers to meet requirements.

* Provide updates to senior management on quality issues and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

* Degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).

* Chartered Quality Institute Professional and Six Sigma Black Belt desirable.

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality management roles.

* ISO9001:2015 Senior Auditor certification.

* Strong knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (5S, VSM, DMAIC, 8D, FAI, A3).

* Experience managing non-conformance and delivering change programmes.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
