Job Title: Site Manager – External Cladding/Brickwork Remediation
Location: Balham, South West London

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an external façade remediation project on a large residential block in Balham. The project involves the re-cladding of the fourth floor with aluminium panels and remedial brickwork from floors one to three, incorporating new fire barriers throughout. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong site management experience in cladding and façade works who is ready to take ownership of a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day site operations and ensure work is progressing according to programme

*

Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor and manage material procurement and deliveries

*

Produce and monitor short-term lookaheads and construction schedules

*

Supervise and manage a team of 8–10 site operatives

*

Ensure health and safety and quality standards are met

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing external works, ideally cladding and brickwork remediation

*

Strong knowledge of construction programming and site logistics

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills

*

Ability to take initiative and keep projects on track and within budget

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications required
