Job Title: Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Operative Location: Birmingham
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Rate: £21.00 per hour

About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team on a 6-month contract, working on social housing properties across the Birmingham area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out carpentry and general maintenance tasks in occupied and void social housing properties

Perform multi-skilled work such as basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, or decorating

Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance

Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and clients

Work independently or as part of a team

Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-skilled tradesperson

Background in social housing maintenance (preferred)

Ability to carry out basic tasks across multiple trades

Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Own tools and PPE

CSCS card (desirable)

What’s on Offer:
£21.00 per hour (paid weekly)

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

6-month stable contract
