Controls Engineer

£35,000 - £50,000 DOE + £4K car allowance + Bonus

Controls Engineer - The Role:

Design and implement control systems including Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for optimal operational efficiency
Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules in line with project requirements
Interpret P&ID's to ensure accurate system configuration and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends and technologies
Controls Engineer - The Person:

Proven experience in PLC/Controls Engineering
Proficiency with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems
Ability to read and interpret P&ID's
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and can be highly hybrid with the majority of time either work from home or up to 40% at client site across the East of England with monthly meetings at head office in Nottinghamshire.
