The Role:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for early years education and at least 6 months of hands-on nursery or childcare experience. You'll support the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 0-5 through play, creativity, and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
* Assist in creating a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for all children.
* Help with feeding, changing, and general care routines.
* Observe and report on children's progress and well-being.
* Work closely with team members and parents to support each child’s development.
* Always follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
About You:
* At least 6 months of recent experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
* A genuine passion for working with young children.
* Patient, reliable, and nurturing personality.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
* A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
