The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to deliver healthcare project in Manchester. This role will involve managing mechanical packages on hospital and healthcare schemes from pre-construction through to completion.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

Managing the delivery of mechanical packages on healthcare projects.

*

Coordinating site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.

*

Managing programme, quality, and health & safety performance.

*

Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal departments.

*

Managing design coordination, technical submissions, and procurement.

*

Ensuring QA, commissioning, and handover documentation is completed to healthcare standards.

*

Identifying and resolving technical and programme issues.

*

Attending client, design, and progress meetings.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering mechanical works on healthcare projects.

*

Background working for an M&E or Mechanical Contractor.

*

Mechanical trade or engineering qualification.

*

SMSTS or equivalent.

*

Knowledge of HTM standards and healthcare regulations.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Willingness to travel to sites UK wide.
