Job Title: Skilled Construction Operative

Pay Rate: £13-£14.50 (based on experience)
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (Long-Term Opportunity)
Location: Based near NG22 – travel UK-wide
Pick-up/Drop-off Point: NG22 (own transport required to/from this location)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Skilled Construction Operative to join a leading and reputable construction firm with work carried out UK-wide. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm role – not a short-term filler – ideal for a candidate seeking job security, travel opportunities, and in-house skill development.

The role involves working on-site across the UK from Monday to Friday, with travel provided in company vehicles. Weekend work is available by arrangement.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in the construction industry

Experience working with concrete, reinforcement, and pre-cast concrete

Competent with general construction tools/equipment, including:

SDS drills

Angle grinders

‘Stihl’ saws

Concrete pokers

Steel trowels / wood floats

Generators

Comfortable working away from home weekly

Willingness to commit to a stable, long-term role

Mandatory Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card (must be presented at interview)

Valid UK Driving Licence (must be presented at interview)

Own transport to travel to/from NG22 (daily commute to this point required)

Desirable Certifications (Not Essential):

NPORS/CPCS Slinger/Signaller

IPAF 3a/3b (Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker)

NPORS/CPCS Telehandler
