A well-regarded secondary school in Durham is seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher to join their team from March 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in speaking, reading, and writing a foreign language.
About the Role
As an MFL Teacher with Tradewind, you will deliver engaging lessons in your specialist language across KS3 and KS4. You will manage classroom behaviour, follow school policies, and ensure pupils are motivated, supported, and actively involved in their learning.
Working with a variety of schools across Durham and the surrounding areas-including large academies and smaller community schools-you will gain valuable experience in different educational settings and find roles that suit your teaching style and career ambitions.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching MFL in UK secondary schools
Two suitable references covering the last two years
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Strong classroom management skills
A genuine passion for teaching languages and supporting young people
Reliable, adaptable, and confident in a range of classroom environments
