ROLE: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy

LOCATION: Mid-Kent

SALARY: £60,000 - £70,000

THE COMPANY

Join a growing and dynamic consultancy, who are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding workload across a wide range of exciting and varied projects.

This organisation are experienced in providing commercial consultancy services to contractors, end clients, and subcontractors.

THE JOB

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be a key client contact and trusted advisor, delivering cost consultancy services across all project stages. You’ll manage cost plans, procurement, valuations, change control, and final accounts, while supporting junior team members and contributing to strategic growth. You’ll be involved in projects across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and deliver full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services

* Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, tender documentation and reports

* Run procurement processes and administer contracts (typically JCT or NEC)

* Provide strategic commercial advice to clients across all project phases

* Manage risk, value engineering and variation control

* Mentor and support junior surveyors within the business

* Attend site and client meetings, providing high-quality project updates and advice

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial/surveying role

* Strong understanding of pricing from first principles

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Driving licence and ability to travel to sites as needed
