Welder – Aluminium & Steel Specialist ?
?Location: Local to Eastleigh
? Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE
? Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00 – 16:30, Fri 07:00 – 13:00

Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with a well-established local metal fabrication business that specialises in laser cutting, folding and welding.
Due to growth, they’re now looking to add a skilled Welder to their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a varied role working on bespoke pieces, small projects, and one-off jobs across multiple sectors, a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive team where no two days are the same.

? Key Responsibilities:
• Read and work from technical drawings and blueprints
• Weld, fabricate and assemble metal parts (MIG & TIG)
• Work with Aluminium and Mild Steel – must be confident in both
• Use band saws, drills and other tools to prep and finish work
• Check quality of finished welds and follow health & safety standards
• Keep your workspace tidy and organised

✅ What We’re Looking For:
✅ Essential: Experience welding both Aluminium AND Steel
✅ At least 1 year of MIG & TIG welding experience
✅ Ability to interpret drawings and work independently
✅ Comfortable using workshop tools and prepping materials

? Please note: applicants without Aluminium AND Steel welding experience will not be considered.

A weld test/skills test will be required as part of the interview process.
