Site Project Manager (Firestopping)
London, SE1
About us
Founded 35 years ago, CLM Fireproofing are experts in passive fire protection and firestopping. We deliver the highest standards of service and pride ourselves on our technical skills and innovative spirit.
Following well-documented fire tragedies, the entire fire protection industry is undergoing major reform. Our clients and industry bodies are becoming increasingly upskilled in fire safety systems, compliance and regulation and, as a result, are now engaging more heavily with businesses such as CLM to ensure specialism and compliance.
We are now looking for a Site Project Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive project professional with strong firestopping experience to join our forward-thinking organisation.
You’ll take ownership of high-profile, safety-critical projects that make a meaningful difference in the built environment, working at the forefront of a transforming industry.
What’s more, with a strong focus on career growth and wellbeing, you’ll benefit from tailored development opportunities, a supportive team culture, and a generous benefits package designed to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
The Role
As our Site Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of passive fire protection projects on-site, managing all aspects from inception through to completion.
You will take ownership of our flagship, high-rise residential projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
With a focus on health and safety, you will co-ordinate site activities, liaise with stakeholders, and manage subcontractors and teams to meet project milestones effectively and efficiently.
Additionally, you will:
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Co-ordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to resolve issues swiftly
- Report regularly on project status, risks, and performance
About You
To be considered as a Site Project Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience delivering passive firestopping projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Proficiency in fire stopping (reading fire strategy drawings and understanding tested manufacturer penetration sealing systems)
- Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Packages (particularly Outlook and Excel) and SharePoint
The closing date for this role is 3rd July 2025.
Other organisations may call this role Construction Project Manager.
