Head of Projects (Security Infrastructure)
Up to £95k per annum / £460.00 per day | Southwest England | Temp to Perm
Are you an experienced project leader ready to take ownership of a major security infrastructure programme? We’re looking for a Head of Projects to develop and deliver a full turnkey security installation across the Southwest.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead pre-construction activities
*
Implement resourcing and procurement strategies
*
Manage end-to-end programme delivery
*
Coordinate timely deployment of additional resources
*
Deliver a comprehensive turnkey solution to the client
*
Oversee commissioning and handover processes
Qualifications & Experience:
*
Degree in Construction, Technical, Surveying, Management, or related field
*
Electrical or Security system qualifications
*
IPMA Level D or equivalent (e.g., APMP PMQ) preferred
*
Professional accreditation with RICS/CIOB or equivalent (or working towards)
*
Valid IOSH Managing Safely; NEBOSH Construction preferred
*
Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022
Skills & Experience:
*
10+ years in construction, engineering, or built environment discipline
*
Proven experience managing subcontractors, multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors
*
Strong background in managing costs/P&L across project portfolios
*
Experience working with finance/accounting teams
*
Client-facing experience with strong leadership skills
*
Experience managing H&S compliance for project programmes
*
Familiarity with AMAG Symmetry and Gallagher security systems installations
*
Public Sector experience is highly advantageous
*
IT literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
