School Cleaner

Prestige Recruitment have once again been approached by our loyal client, who currently requires a new Cleaner. The ideal candidate; must be hardworking, reliable and trustworthy.

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas

Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces regularly

Empty and dispose of trash in designated areas

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

Refill soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed

Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and desks

Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Physical stamina to perform manual tasks

Prior cleaning experience

This role is based within a local school in North Cave and therefore a valid Child work force DBS certificate is essential

The hours are 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday
