Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEN and SEMH needs? 1st Staff are looking for dedicated 1:1 tutors to work with learners in the Wickford area, providing holistic support, through personalised tuition and therapeutic interventions.
The Role
As a 1:1 Tutor you will deliver engaging and bespoke tuition sessions to learners with SEN or SEMH needs, who are unable to access mainstream education.
•Location: Child’s home, local library, or community centre
•Role: 1:1 Tutor
•Hours: Part-time or full-time
oMost referrals are 10–15 hours per week
oFull-time tutors typically support multiple students
•Start Date: ASAP
•Subjects: English and Maths
Experience Required
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN or SEMH needs
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
• A flexible, supportive, and student-centered approach
