Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer
Location: March (near Peterborough)
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Hours: Days (with occasional shift cover as needed)
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established food production facility based in March, Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with a background in bottle filling lines and food-grade machinery to join a forward-thinking business.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment, focusing on bottle filling lines, conveyors, mixers, and other automated food production machinery. Working closely with the production team, you will help ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair (70/30) Electrical
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Working with bottle filling lines and food processing equipment
Ensuring all work is carried out to food safety and H&S standards
Supporting operational improvements and project work
Requirements:
Electrically biased with relevant qualifications (17th/18th Edition preferred)
Proven experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
Hands-on knowledge of automated machinery, ideally bottling lines
Basic mechanical understanding (motors, gearboxes, pneumatics)
Flexible and proactive approach with a strong work ethic
