Operations Manager (Waste Collections)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Location: Haringey

What you'll be doing;

Responsible for overseeing a team of Environmental managers while assisting the Collections Contract manager to improve service levels and react to changes in legislation while ensuring Fleet and Driver compliance is followed.

Managing the frontline service operations and fleet.

Working within a high pressure environment, delivering cost effective services that achieve value for money.

Meeting operational targets and monitoring performance.

Suggest new ways to improve operational service and take responsibility for providing solutions.

Promote a positive team environment with good communication and morale.

What we're looking for;

Knowledge of waste management

Knowledge of health & safety legislation and guidelines for safe working practices

Able to lead and motivate others

Able to work effectively in a team

HGV licence (preferred)

O'Licence awareness (CPC Qualification Prefered)

Proven staff management experience and experience of managing a frontline service
