Job Title: Administrative Officer (Highways Support)
Location: Winchester
Contract Type: 9 - 12 month contract initially
Salary: £13.95 per hour
Role Purpose
Putting our customers at the heart of everything we do, you will deliver high quality customer service that maintains and builds valuable customer experiences.
Our Highways team work together to maintain and improve over 5,500 miles of local road networks in Hampshire.
You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our core services and processes at the Highways Operation Centre.
Role Responsibilities
As a Customer Relationship Officer, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:
Engaging with customers - public, councillors and senior leaders to process complaints and enquiries.
Effectively and efficiently process a wide range of customer enquiries, using various customer contact channels.
Accurately log and maintain all enquiries on our database system to maintain accurate records, in line with Universal Services Directorate and Council procedures.
Investigating complex enquiries and actively try to resolve at first point of contact.
Managing our customer expectations.
Write bespoke responses to complaints Hampshire Highways receive. These responses are of the high quality, within our SLA's and comply with Hampshire Highway processes and statutory responsibilities.
Develop and maintain service knowledge to ensure accuracy is maintainedPerson Specification
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
A minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
An understanding of IT systems and packages including Microsoft Office 360
A team player, strong ability to collaborate with different teams across the business.Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Business Administration/Management Qualification Level 2.
Knowledge of the role of highways services.
Knowledge of Confirm or experience of using another electronic enquiry management system.
Working in a political environmentWorking conditions:
