Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Barrow-in-Furness

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation

Pay Rate: £14.65/hour + Overtime at £25.64/hour

Contract Type: Ongoing, Full-Time Assignment

We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established distribution team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck
Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Palletising goods and preparing shipments
Completing relevant paperwork accurately
Undertake training as required
Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues
Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (not in house)
Referenceable experience in a similar role
Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis

Shift Details:

4 on / 4 off rotation
2 x 12-hour day shifts (6am - 6pm)
2 x 12-hour night shifts (6pm - 6am)
4 days off
After 7 weeks on shift, enjoy 18 days off
