A community-focused mainstream primary school in Oxford, Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting pupils through the important transition from EYFS into KS1 and making a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development in Year 1
Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Applying effective behaviour management strategies
Using pre-prepared lesson plans and classroom resources where appropriate
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Collaborating with KS1 colleagues and contributing to a supportive team culture
Participating in the wider life of the schoolApplicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience teaching in KS1 or Year 1 is desirable but not essential.
